Hot Bean Dip/Spread

This is another recipe that is good for a party as it makes a lot.


Hot Bean Dip/Spread


1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
3/4 c sour cream
1 can refried beans 
1/4 c  taco seasoning mix 
5 drops hot pepper sauce (I eliminated)
2 T dried parsley
1/4 c chopped green onions
1/2 (8 oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese 
1/2 (8 oz) pkg shredded Monterey Jack cheese 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In medium bowl blend the cream cheese and sour cream. Mix in the refried beans, taco seasoning, hot pepper sauce, parsley, green onions, 1/2 the Cheddar and 1/2 the Monterey Jack. Transfer the mixture to a 7x10 inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses.

Bake in oven 20-30 minutes, until cheese is slightly browned.
