Florida pastors to speak at NC Preaching Fest

RALEIGH, N.C. – Two Florida Conference pastors, Revs. Audrey Warren and Dan Wunderlich, will be featured workshop leaders at the North Carolina Preaching Festival set for April 25-27, 2016, at St. Mark's UMC, Raleigh.

The registration deadline is April 25. The general registration fee is $160, but there are discounts for seminary students and others. Click here for details and registration.

Warren, pastor of First UMC, Miami, has been spearheading the Fresh Expressions movement in the Florida Conference. She will lead a workshop called "Hospitality of Preaching," focusing on diversity. Wunderlich will discuss "Extending the Sermon into the Week," with tips for reframing sermon content for blogs, podcasts, videos and social media posts. He has been appointed to lead an extension ministry, Defining Grace, that focuses on encouraging and equipping pastors, churches and campus ministries in areas of worship, communication and creativity.

Other workshop leaders hail from North and South Carolina, Nevada, Louisiana, Texas and Virginia.
