DAYTONA BEACH – Members planning to attend Florida's Annual Conference 2015 can sign up their middle school students for field trips and other activities for the first three days of the meeting, Wednesday through Friday, June 10-12, at First UMC, Port Orange. Students going into grades 6-8 are invited to attend. There will be no youth child care available on Saturday.
The First UMC youth program directors have planned off-site activities each morning, starting with Go Karts and mini-golf on Wednesday, canoeing on Thursday and a visit to Port Orange Beach at Frank Renden Park on Friday. Afternoon activities such as Nintendo Wii, ping pong and other games will be offered in the church youth room. Parents must provide a bag lunch for participants. The program cost is $25 per day, and preregistration by Tuesday, May 26, is required. Click here for information and to register.
