who said that the earth revolved around the sun! The argument that marriage must be between a woman and a man so that they can create children is no longer valid, or the church would have to condemn heterosexual couples who decide not to have children. Sometimes culture is not bad. There are many examples of the church needing enlightenment. When the church was killing heretics by the millions (many were women), over several centuries, a different culture would have been a "Godsend." If only people could stop dwelling on other people's sexual orientation and focus on their loving, caring lives! The homosexual couple in Florida who adopted several HIV infected babies that no one else wanted has been judged more harshly because of their loving each other than they have been praised for parenting those precious children. The God I know would be on the side of the children!
