Part-time Office Assistant, Riverside Camp & Retreat Center


Position Status:  Part-time hourly, non-exempt position.

Position Summary:  To assist the Office Manager in daily operations of the camp office. Primary focus will include financial duties and guest reception.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):
Applicants must possess the ability to properly file documents; operate a computer, copier, calculator and answer office phones as needed in addition to:
Review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and to ensure correct payment
Resolves discrepancies as necessary with vendor invoices
Reviews payments to ensure proper backup is included and obtains signatures for processing checks and payments
Maintain RV and Workamper reservations and payments
Create weekly bank deposit
Maintain petty cash box
Answer incoming phone calls
Greet guests and guide them to requested resources
Light housekeeping of general office areas
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Camp Director
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma is required with some college coursework preferred.  A minimum of 2 years varied accounts payable experience is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook are required.   Knowledge of Camp Wise software is a plus.  Reliable transportation to and from work.

Working Conditions:
Part-time hourly non-exempt position.  Spends over 85% of time sitting; infrequent walking, standing or climbing stairs.
