It was King Solomon who wrote in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit." When we desire something so bad all we do is talk about it and talk about it. The caution and the question is what are we really saying? Are we speaking what we desire into existence or are we blocking our own blessings? Please beware that our miracles and our miseries are in our own mouths!

As we begin this New Year of 2014, I would like to offer several sermonic strategies of how to not only have a Happy New Year but also how to have a Happy New Life. The first sermon in this series is SEEK GOD. The scriptural premise for SEEKING God is predicated upon Matthew 6:33. There are four ways to SEEK GOD throughout this New YEAR: 1) Seek the Glory of God; 2) Seek the Guidance of God; 3) Seek the Grace of God; and 4) Seek the Gladness of God.
