Your Miracle or Your Misery is in Your Mouth

It was King Solomon who wrote in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit."

When we desire something so bad all we do is talk about it and talk about it. The caution and the question is what are we really saying? Are we speaking what we desire into existence or are we blocking our own blessings? Please beware that our miracles and our miseries are in our own mouths!

Sometimes we can be our worst enemy when it comes to our thoughts and our choice of words. When we deposit negative energy into the atmosphere, the enemy is standing on guard to use what we say against us. That’s when the satanic suggestions start flooding our minds.  The enemy starts telling us, “You’re never going to be amount to anything”. “You’re never going to make it”. "You might as well stop wasting your time and give up now”.  The sad commentary about this is too many of us will submit to that fear. Why? Because we are the ones who planted the seed. We are the ones who gave the enemy the ammunition to use against us.

Regardless of the way things look, we have to learn to see and say what we want it to be. Your dreams are not manifesting the way you expected them to?…You can choose to say “I should just quit and give up” or you can say boldly “I know my season is just around the corner!"   Instead of telling yourself “I don’t know how I’m going to make it.”, tell yourself “I know God will provide.”

Being realistic is one thing; being pessimistic is another thing. Remember, your words are like a wand. You can use them to manifest your miracles or you can use them to manifest your misery.

In what ways have you been guilty of using your mouth to manifest your own misery?
