Experienced UMVIM team leader, Dr. Dick Daily, has just returned from his most recent mission trip to Haiti. He visited several of the sites that future teams from the Florida Conference will be working on in the Cap-Haitien area in the northern part of the country.
While not affected with much physical damage from the Jan.’10 earthquake, the area is now heavily populated with émigrés from the devastation of Port-au-Prince and the resources are greatly stressed. While there are several construction/repair projects to consider, building simple sanitation systems is a high priority at this time, as well as helping the Cap-Haitien Methodist Circuit Churches minister to this new influx of refugees in their midst.

Please consider joining one of the next two Florida-Conference teams planned for February 3-11 and March 16-24, 2012.
Cost of the trip is $1,400 and includes airfare, lodging, ground transportation, meals, medical insurance, and registration. A limited number of partial scholarships are available. Please click here to learn more. For a scholarship application, click here.
