WHAT: Housing and Hotel/Motel Information for the 2005 Florida United Methodist Annual    Conference Event

WHERE: The Lakeland Center, Lakeland, Florida

Greetings! This letter is being sent to all clergy and lay delegates to the 2005 Florida United Methodist Annual Conference Event, which is being held at the Lakeland Center, 700 West Lemon Street, Lakeland, Florida. Florida Southern College will be our host for campus housing this year.

We wanted to be sure to get the housing information out to everyone early so you can make arrangements that best fit your needs and so you can take advantage of the special rates offered to us by many of the Lakeland area hotels and motels. Please make note of the cut-off date set by each hotel, at which time the hotel may release any rooms not already booked and at which time the special rate given to us will expire. Please note also the deadline set by Florida Southern College to reserve a room and/or purchase a meal ticket: May 12, 2005.

There are a limited number of complimentary rooms reserved for retired pastors (of the Florida Conference) and for probationary members being commissioned at the 2005 Florida Annual Conference Event, who wish to stay on the campus of Florida Southern College. Please mark the appropriate box on the campus reservation card, if you are eligible for this benefit and wish to request it. The complimentary rooms will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
